Worship is the reverent love and allegiance we as Christians accord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior; it is the praise of God and the edification of His people. Here at Compass Church, we express this love and allegiance in a variety of ways, including prayer, being still before our God, instrumental music, voices raised in joyful celebration and honor, corporate scripture reading, and expository teaching from the pulpit.Times and Location

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:5-7
Compass EFC loves kids… and their families! Compass Kids, the children’s ministry of Compass EFC, believes that God created the family (not the Children’s Ministry) to be the primary environment where discipleship and spiritual transformation take place.
The purpose of COMPASS KIDS is to partner with parents as they assume the role as the primary disciplers of their children; Providing gospel-centered, Bible-saturated ministry to children that points them to the life-saving message of Jesus Christ.
Compass Kids has lots of exciting areas of ministry for your children to participate in. Take a look at these areas of ministry as well as a list of Compass Kids’ Recommended Family Discipleship Resources.

Sunday School happens every Sunday morning at Compass. We begin with worship and singing at 9:15am, followed by age appropriate classes (for kids Kindergarten through 5th grade) from 9:30am-10:30am. Compass Kids is very excited to be using The Gospel Project for Kids in our Sunday School ministry. The Gospel Project for Kids is a dynamic resource that shows how Christ fits into the entire gospel story, pre-creation to eternity. And where each of us fits in, too. This Christ-centered curriculum follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus to kids in fresh and engaging ways. Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more. www.gospelproject.com | Read More
We offer two classes for our preschool children during the 9:15am Sunday School Hour as well as during the 10:45am Worship Service- 1) TODDLERS for ages 2 & 3 and 2) PRESCHOOL for ages 4 & 5. These classes are designed to use playtime, singing, Bible lessons, and interactive activities to teach the truth of God’s Word as well as basic classroom behavior skills. The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum is used in our preschool classes.
Because we place such a high priority on family discipleship, we love to see families worshipping together and kids are always welcome in our worship services. We do however, offer a children’s church program (for children grades K-5th) for families that wish to use it. Children's Church is offered the first three Sundays of each month (except August & December) and happens in Room 42 during the 10:45am worship service (Sundays when Children's Church is not offered are considered “Family Sundays.”) During this time, we use games, prayer, songs, and storytelling to communicate the truth of God’s Word.
Our nursery ministry is designed so that families with young children may worship or serve with the understanding that their child is loved and well cared for. There are two areas of our nursery- 1) NEWBORNS & CRAWLERS, and 2) TODDLERS & WALKERS. The nursery is available during the 9:15am Sunday School Hour as well as the 10:45am Worship Service.
