How do we pursue Christ in a post-christian world? How do we help others encounter the transforming power of the Gospel? Adult Education at Compass is purposeful spiritual formation for men and women seeking to follow Jesus in the real world.

B.L.E.S.S.: Reaching Our Unchurched Neighbors
Sundays 9:00 am* Compass Great Room

Teachers: Martin Appold and Scott Harris

Although American culture has been growing more and more secular with many people leaving the Church, many remain receptive to the gospel.  Informed by current data and guided by a firm theological foundation, practical tools for how we reach our unchurched neighbors in a post-Christian culture are beginning to emerge. Led by elders from Compass, the B.L.E.S.S. class will inform both our hearts and minds toward personal transformation, as well as effective and purposeful care in our relationships with unbelievers.
*Childcare available for 0 yr through grade 5

Spiritual Formation in a Fractured World
Sundays 10:30am Compass Great Room

Teacher: Corey Webel

As the United States transitions to an increasingly post-Christian culture, our society is fracturing along a number of fault lines-- theological, racial, political, relational, etc.. These fault lines extend into our communities, our churches, our families, and our own hearts. In this class, we will seek to understand the forces that contribute to our spiritual formation as we engage with our culture, and learn to employ practices that center our hearts on the promises of God and the role of His people in a fraught world.

Compass Nursery (birth - 5 years) and Compass Kids Sunday School (K-5th) run concurrently with this class
